Brows, brows and more brows. From start to finish!

Posted 16 January, 2009, at 02:56PM by Shana King

I’m not afraid to admit it – I am obsessed with getting my eyebrows shaped just right. The perfect brow frames and opens up the face and can dramatically transform your look. It’s the cheapest form of a face lift and an art I never take for granted.

If you’re doing your brows for the first time, I suggest letting a beauty professional have the first go.

If you are taking on the challenge yourself…Here are a few tips to keep in mind;

Don’t over tweeze.
Pay attention to the shape of your face.
Make sure that you have adequate lighting when eyebrow shaping.
Follow your natural brow line and tweeze the hairs in the direction they grow.
Clear mascara or brow gel is a great way to tame brows or to set them in place.

Great eyebrows and the right lipstick are sometimes all a girl needs!

Brush highlight of the week: adesign’s groomer brush is a perfect fit for any brow.

Thanks to all that sent in their comments about false lashes! Sounds like many of us still use the good old stand by – an eye lash curler!!

Congrats to Bonnie McGrath, you have won an adesign eye #5. Contact us for further details.

    I totally agree with you! Eyebrows can make you look old, mad, as if your suprised, etc. It seems as if it’s a part of our face that is either ignored or overdone.

    An investment with a professional is well worth the money. Well groomed brows are a womans right to look better & should be on the must do list!!
