Makeup for an outdoor event

Posted 28 August, 2008, at 12:53PM by Shana King

The hot weather isn’t over yet – so enjoy your Labor Day plans!! The Adesign crew lives in Atlanta and is constantly attending fun, outdoor festivals and events. Whether it be a concert, park festival or ball game (Go Braves Go). The temperature is breaking 100 degrees and its clearly not makeup friendly weather.

Here are some quick fixes: – Apply a mattifying product to your t-zone it helps with the shininess. – Use eye shadow primer it will prevent shadow from creasing on your eye. – No heavy eye makeup! Your’re outdoors! – Not much blush – the heat will run its course and turn those cheeks into it’s natural rosy color! – Pencil lips in with your lip liner, it will help your lip color not fade over time.

Brush Highlight of the Week: Flat Top Foundation Kabuki – great to help apply translucent powders.
Tip of the Week: Clinque’s Moisture Surge. Spritz on your face when you get over heated, it cools you off instantly.

Thanks to those that sent in pictures of their makeup bags!
Enjoy your long weekend everyone!
