Welcome to adesign’s first blog post! As the co-founder of adesign brushes and a professional makeup artist, I’m thrilled to be part of a forum where we can talk about a blend of beauty topics such as the latest must-have beauty tools and makeover tips.

At adesign, we are not content to simply sell products. We offer our beauty mavens the most unique and quality line of cosmetic brushes, but we also focus on educating our customers with the best application tips and helpful information about brush care.

That being said, we want to hear from you. We would love your feedback for our blog. What info and tips would you find helpful? Be a part of our blog and send us your thoughts and suggestions!

  1. Hei Shana,
welcome to your new blog. You said you wanted to share information on how to have a better makeup – well, that is something I am sure many are interested in, especially since one can learn a lot from make up professionals.

As this is your blog I am sure nobody minds if you present your own products and what to do with them. :))

While you need to find your own voice, I’d like to add some thoughts on what will be most important for you in regards with other bloggers who are able to spread your brand name and talk about your products:

What every blogger wants from a company is to be able to use the images from your site to blog about you as well, ideally also with a link to a blog page, but a product page will do.

I for example came to look for a ‘permission’ to be able to blog about the travel sized brush kit. I did not find it, so I won’t blog about it – which is bad for you. I know it is not easy in regard to contracts and everything, but make it possible for bloggers to have stories and pictures to blog about and they will love you. ;)

    Have fun blogging!
    Nicole

I just got my master brush set from the Celebrity Style Lounge in Atlanta, GA. I love it! Especially the XL powder brush. I noticed that you didn’t have many tapered/round tip crease brushes in the set…it would be awesome if this was included in your line because I find it essential on doing detailed eye looks. Just a suggestion!

I would love to share a makeup tip of sorts!
The Pointed foundation brush is the perfect companion to the Shu Uemura Nobara Cream Foundations. Even the artists at Shu can’t believe its blendability, and coverage with the brush- WORD!!
Congrats on your new project and next time your in New York, lets PLEASE try and grab dinner or drinks!!
Much love Shana and please give your mom a shout for me! She ROX!!

  4. Hi Shana
Great idea, just simply love, love, love the brushes. Don’t forget we need a windsheild wiper type one, I sent you a picture of one a while back, great for doing the crease.
Can’t wait to read all the new ideas and tips you have in store for us.

    Kathy
